We have just performed a quick reboot on server ps02 to replace a failing memory module; this work is now complete. Thank you.
At this time, we have had a small number of customers report issues accessing our hosting network; we are in contact with our upstream provider regarding this issue, and it appears that the problem is caused by a routing issue with a major backbone provider outside of our network. This issue is not under our control, but our engineers will continue to monitor the situation and will post a notice once the affected providers have resolved their issues. Thank you for your patience.
Update 3:50pm: At this time, we are receiving reports from customers that access to their sites have been restored, and we have confirmed that the issue is resolved or nearly resolved for most users.
We are rebooting server cp34 to replace a backup drive. The expected downtime is approximately 5 minutes. We thank you for your patience while we perform this necessary maintenance. We will update this post when the work is completed.
Update 11:45am: This server is back online. We apologize for the delay.
Server vz08 has been rebooted in order to apply a system update and is currently running a filesystem check to make certain that the drives and data are all intact. This is totally normal behavior and should be completed shortly. We’ll update you as soon as the server is completely up and running again.
Update 2:30AM - vz08 is now back up and running at full capacity. Thank you for your patience.
At this time, our engineers are performing emergency maintenance on server sd25 due to an unexpected kernel error. We expect to have this server back online soon and will provide additional details as they become available.
Update 3:28pm: This maintenance is now complete and the server is back online. No further issues are expected.
On December 4th from 6pm to 10pm EST, our datacenter provider for our Washington, DC datacenter will be performing an inspection of power generation and backup systems such as batteries, generators, power conditioners, etc. This is simply an inspection to verify that all equipment is functioning as expected; no downtime or power failures are expected, but we did want to alert our customers to the very small possibility that power service for some servers could be temporarily interrupted if major faults were found and corrective actions were taken. Thank you.
Plesk server ps04 is being rebooted at this time as it has become unresponsive. It should be back up quite shortly.
Update: All services are now up and running on ps04 as of 11:35 EST.
We are currently rebooting vz03 to perform some unplanned maintenance. The expected downtime is less than 10 minutes. We will update this post when the process is complete. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Update: The downtime was longer than expected due to some consistency checks being run. The server is now running normally.
