Web Designer/Developer

We are searching for a creative, professional web designer/developer to join our team. This opportunity may be perfect for you if you,

 • Have solid knowledge of interactive design
 • Can work in a collaborative environment on simultaneous projects
 • Can conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule
 • Create and maintain the look and feel of various websites, pushing to achieve the highest quality possible within the technical limitations

Systems Operator

As a Systems Operator at Jumpline.com, your primary responsibilities are to ensure that the server environment is running at its most optimal state. This may at times mean rebooting servers, restoring servers, or performing maintenance and upgrades. Below is a list of areas covered under the responsibilities of a Systems Operator but are not limited to:

 • Install, configure, maintain and administer Linux operating systems and servers, along with Tivoli backup system and other proprietary Jumpline.com applications.
 • Monitor and conduct performance tuning along with server configuration when necessary
 • Implement, monitor and maintain the server environment
 • Implement approved changes relating to the server hardware and software
 • Manage small to medium projects
 • Assist customers in the timely resolution of their technical support issues (SPR's). This includes both level 1 and level 2 SPR's.

To be successful in this position, you must have 2+ yrs. UNIX/Linux exp., excellent communication skills and possess the ability to implement new technologies. Strong Shell or Perl programming exp. and previous exp. with Tivoli is a plus, but not required for our entry level positions. Maintenance Programmer

As a maintenance programmer at Jumpline.com, your primary responsibilities include supporting proprietary Jumpline.com applications, as well as the coding and implementation of new SDK modules into our hosting environment. Additional responsibilities for this position include:

 • Performing routine programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements.
 • Documentation of code consistently throughout the development process
 • Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports
 • Coordinates and implements new server software, performance increases, general bug fixes, security fixes
 • Manage small, medium, and large projects
 • Responsible for escalating known/outstanding bugs to the Programming Team Lead

To be considered for this position you must have a BS in Computer Science and/or 3-5 years of programming experience. The ideal candidate must possess expert knowledge of Perl and PHP with a strong background in C and C++. Additionally, this position requires extensive knowledge of procedural database languages such as Postgres or Oracle, along with a fluency of Unix Administration and shell scripting. Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position is on our team responsible for the handling of all incoming customer support requests, including both email and phone correspondence. Responsibilities for this position include:

 • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
 • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
 • Responds to incoming telephone calls for customer service.
 • Documents customer trouble reports in trouble ticketing system and escalates according to established standard operating procedures.
 • Responds to customer inquires regarding orders, billing inquiries and technical problem notifications.
 • Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
 • Escalates customer issues to the team lead for resolution in a timely and well documented manner.

Systems Administrator

As a Systems Administrator at Jumpline.com, your primary responsibilities are to ensure that the server environment is running at its most optimal state. Along with managing and coordinating upgrades, maintenance, restores, migrations, and new server deployment. This position at times will require traveling to our datacenters, rebooting servers, restoring servers, or performing maintenance during or after normal working hours. Below is a list of areas covered under the responsibilities of a Systems Administrator but are not limited to:

 • Install, configure, maintain and administer Linux operating systems and servers, along with Tivoli backup system and other proprietary Jumpline.com applications.
 • Monitor and conduct performance tuning along with server configuration when necessary
 • Implement, monitor and maintain the server environment
 • Implement approved changes relating to the server hardware and software
 • Manage small to medium projects
 • Assist customers in the timely resolution of their technical support issues (SPR's). This includes both level 1, level 2 and level 3 SPR's.

To be successful in this position, you must have 5+ yrs. UNIX/Linux experience, excellent communication skills and possess the ability to implement new technologies. Strong Shell or Perl programming experience is required along with previous experience with enterprise level backup solutions.
